A Free Guided Practice To Connect To Your Body's Wisdom

Looping thoughts, indecisiveness, high self-pressure, and people-pleasing all have one thing in common: they make it hard to connect to your truth.
Chances are you feel like you’re never quite done, and you never “deserve” to rest. You procrastinate, feel unaccomplished, and when it’s time to rest, there’s still more to do.
A loop where no matter what you do, something always feels off.
I see this over and over again in my health consultations, retreats, courses, and one-on-one coaching journeys – intelligent, successful, powerful women who have done everything “right,” yet feel lost and confused when it comes to making aligned decisions and living their truth.
And here’s the thing: no matter how much you achieve, the void won’t fill. The clarity and fulfillment you're looking for doesn't come from doing more…
It comes from reconnecting with yourSelf.
If you don’t trust yourself,
if you don’t feel good in your skin,
if you don’t work towards goals and make decisions that are authentic to you,
you’ll never break out of the loop.
So in this practice, you are invited to come out of the mind, into your body, and listen to what is already there.

When you keep believing the spinning thoughts to be true, they begin to shape how you experience your life. In this case, you might be familiar with these outcomes:
1. You question your ability to choose and whatever you choose, it feels wrong.
2. You overthink everything and eventually it is too late to choose one option, and the decision is made for you.
3. You procrastinate and get lost in what others want you to do, and what the "right" way to do things is. Leading a life that isn’t yours.
Are there more outcomes?
I know what this is like, because I lived it for many years. And, there is a different way. An opportunity for you to go silent inside. Land in your body. Pause the world’s expectations on you for a moment and listen in to what your body has to say.
A P R A C T I C E
I want to invite you to a practice where you get to experience this first hand. Find a comfortable place where you can be alone for 10-15 minutes. Get a pen, a paper and a post-it if you have one. Arrive sitting but make sure you have room to stand up in a bit.
As you find your seat, take a big breath and press play.
As you come out of your practice, grab your pen and paper and answer the following question:
If there were no thoughts, no fears, no worries, no expectations in the way: What choice would you be making then?
Write down your answer in free flow and keep it at hand as a reminder.
Choose one sentence from your text and put it on a Post-it. No one else will need to understand what it means but you. Put your Post-it somewhere in your home where you see it regularly.
